Looking for creative connection in SE PDX neighborhood? I believe in Creative Power as an integral part of being a human being, something we are born with in our DNA. I believe we all need creative self-care as a balm for our soul and as a source for healing and transformation, so I started a weekly meet-up, the Reborn Church of Craft (RCOC). I came across the original Church of Craft in the San Francisco Bay area about 20 years ago. I loved seeing men and women of all ages, races and backgrounds, making, crafting, and fixing things and their mission statement really resonated with me. It eventually faded away but I decided it needed to be brought back. So far we are a small group that meets every Sunday, between 2 and 5 pm at Pappacino's coffeeshop on Woodstock. Come check us out. Stay as little or long as you like. No expectations, commitments or "shoulds". For artists and non-artists, any medium or form of creativity
