Startup 90s tribute band looking for lead and rhythm guitar

Meets

Portsmouth NH

Description

We've got bass, drums, and vocals, now we need two 90's loving guys/gals on guitar. I've got experience getting bands off the ground and have already received interest from a few solid venues in Portsmouth, Dover, and Southern Maine Craigslist auto-flags my long posts, so here's the condensed version of what I'm looking for: - While there's a talent threshold, I'm more inerested in fun 90's rock loving folks than delusional musicians who think they're rock stars (you all know the type I'm talking about) - Please be on time to gigs and rehearsals - Gigs: quality over quantity. I'd rather play 8-10 shows a year at quality venues than one show a week at dives with six drunks who are staring at the TV - I'm looking for a fun band, not a way to make money. Not looking for payout disputes. I'd rather play a great venue for free than a lousy venue for a thousand bucks. - The goal is 100+ song catalog. This opens up live band karaoke, playing the sam venue back to back nights with different set lists, keeps things fresh for the band, etc - Let's aim for a unique set list. Nobody needs to hear What I Got, Breakfast at Tiffany's, All Star, Plush, Only Wanna Be With You, Drive, Hard to Handle, Closing Time, Small Things, or Wonderwall ever again. I'm not saying we should play songs nobody has heard of, but who didn't love Low, Possum Kingdom, Cumbersome, Superman's Dead, Here and Now, Seether, Anema, and Here in your Bedroom? The goal is to meet up in November, jam on a few of these, and make sure the vibe is there. If all goes well, we'll get a song list together and start regular rehearsals after the new year. Goal is gigging by late Spring If you're intrigued shoot me an email and I'll give you the rest of the info. Brian
