Hype Man/Ol Skool Rapper sought… A 90’s R&B Tribute Act under Management and preparing for shows in 2023, is looking for a Hype-Man/RAPPER/MC able to energize and engage an audience about the music and Act (before, in between, and during songs) and able to PERFORM Rap and Hip-Hop anthems and repertoire by 90’s and early 2000’s rappers (ie. Biggie, Diddy, Mase, Q-Tip, Jay-Z, etc.) Ability to SING 90s R&B hits a plus (but not required). Respectful, fun personality, PERSONABLE, articulate, down to earth, professional and responsible a MUST. And of course be able to sound good saying the obvious stuff like “how we doin’ New York?!!”, and “Sing along if you know the words to this song!!”, etc.. Must also be available weeknights for ongoing rehearsals in manhattan. Do you have “related experience” (audience engagement, public speaking, etc.) for this project (as we are expected to perform public as well as private and corporate events in 2023)? Or “hidden and related talent” as a rapper, MC and hype man with a love for this era in music? Let us know.
