This position is accountable for paperwork to ensure the highest safety practices for the warehouse, preventative maintenance of the entire warehouse including forklifts, machinery, and miscellaneous projects. All Charlie’s positions require the ability to provide clear and timely communication when necessary. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: •Perform daily tasks as assigned by supervisor. •Assist with executing the facility preventative maintenance plan. •Perform mechanical and refrigeration duties. •Maintain building and machinery maintenance. •Maintain the facility grounds including lawn care and snow removal. •Communicate when repairs will require third party contractors. •Attend monthly safety meetings. •Other duties as assigned. Desired Minimum Qualifications: •Ability to plan in detail. •Effective communication skills. •Proficiently read, write, and comprehend English. •Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and consistently meet tight deadlines. •Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC issues as well as basic electrical and mechanical problems. •Ability to coordinate with contractors when necessary •Must be able to read and interpret written user manuals/repair guides. •Requires prolonged walking, sitting, bending, stooping. •Must be able to work in severe weather conditions and lift, push and pull 75lbs.
