People do some horrible things to kittens and cats during Halloween and I have heard some major war stories about kittens being used in dog fights.
It's to get the dogs too attack each other.
also helps take care of the community cats that because of the woods being torn down has pushed raccoons coyotes wild boars have migrated towards our homes so I've ended up with 10 kittens and cats in the house. So they're not attacked and eaten.
