Nustar is looking for a new tema member for our Fort Pierce branch. Daily activities include: Shipping, Receiving, Labeling, Shelving, issuing orders/components, Cycle Counting, Coordinating/Scheduling/Tracking Shipments, Comparing PO's to the physical materials received. Proven experience as warehouse technician/manager Solid knowledge of logistics procedures... Coordinating shipments with carriers on the phone Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) Excellent organizational and communication skills Attention to detail is a must... Good enough, isn't! Problem-solving abilities High school diploma required; BS/BA in supply chain, logistics or relative field is a definite plus Ability to stand/walk for long period of times Qualified/Licensed Forklift Operator Required and CDL Holder - prefered Ability to work in warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders. Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment. Inspect labels and other features of completed orders. Supervise and lead employees as needed. Collaborate with purchasing and other managers to optimize processes. Resolve issues regarding shipped orders. Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies. Report to management on activities and issues. Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc. Normal Working hours: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, occasionally longer as needed by the demands of the job.
