Rehoming 4 yr old cocker spaniel

We have had our cocker spaniel for about 2 months. We took him in from someone who was moving out of state, and it became evident right away this poor guy was not treated well. He is a sweet indoor dog, but unfortunately he is not the right dog for our apartment community and family. He's well behaved and potty trained, however he doesn't do well around other dogs. He seems to have anxiety on walks in our complex and seems to prefer being inside where he can cuddle and play with the kids. He is by no means aggressive, but tends to bark at all dogs which forces us to do take him on short walks and leave him inside as much as possible. He would do well with a family that has a home with a yard, where he is the only dog and can be provided with the home he deserves. I am not asking a rehoming fee, but would ask for some information about yourself, your home, etc. to ensure that he goes to a loving family.
