Valid Driver’s LicenseConstruction experience is a plus!Certifications are a plus!Excellent communication skillsAttention to detailBasic computer navigation skills Prepare to excel inside a team prepared for anything.Position OverviewThe Water Mitigation Technician is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency service jobs to perform advanced techniques for water and fire mitigation, as well as, remediate areas damaged by mold, water or fire. Responsibilities include maintaining a fully stocked and prepared company vehicle to drive to work sites, obtaining necessary paperwork, preparing work areas for demolition, cleaning, equipment setup, drying and continually monitoring moisture levels until project completion. ResponsibilitiesThe Water Mitigation Technician will perform the following duties along with any additional duties as assigned by management per business needs. These duties are not listed in any particular order and are subject to change. Perform emergency board up, water extraction, and fire mitigation services efficiently and safely Prepare rooms / areas for work activities to include setting up staging areas and equipmentPerform demolition and general clean up Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing debrisSet drying equipment Maintain clean and organized work areas to include securely storing equipment, tools and supplies while not in useInterface with customers and relay information to Project Manager and Superintendent when appropriateComplete paperwork, upload documents, and provide job updates into database as neededMaintain warehouse, equipment, tools in clean and working conditionEnsure the company vehicle is fully stocked at all times Monitor consumable material stockMonitor the safety, security, efficiency, and appearance of the company vehicle Monitor the safety, security and appearance of the company jobsitesRecognize and mitigate jobsite safety hazardsParticipate in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls. QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.IICRC Water Restoration certificate preferred.Must be able to identify Product (consumables), usage and disposal requirements with training.Must have knowledge of various pump systems.Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to be flexible and adaptable based on business needs.Deep knowledge of the principles and practices of customer service.Ability to work with time constraints to meet specific deadlines. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.Eligible to operate a vehicle per company policy.
