Title of position: Green Angels Lead Associate Reports to: CEO Supervises: Volunteers Position Summary: The Green Angels Director is responsible for assisting people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in their work and activities at the Green Angels Farm. Responsibilities: A. Oversee operations of the Pecan Nut-buster B. Keep and maintain the Pecan Nut-buster C. Keep and maintain the Ag Building D. Check quality of products E. Contact pecan growers for pecan donations F. Maintain a clean work environment G. Help maintain the garden H. Help at markets I. Work with volunteers on various projects. J. May work some Saturday’s K. May have pickup and delivery Qualifications: A. Must be ministry minded B. Positive attitude and a high energy level C. Ability to stand, bend, lift, dig, rake etc. D. Ability to lift 40lbs E. Ability to withstand weather conditions (heat, humidity, cold, wind, rain, etc.) F. Existing plant knowledge or gardening/landscaping experience G. Must be able to work with people that are intellectually, developmentally, and physically disabled.
