Recently attended a networking event hosted at Taste of Texas, and there was a discussion regarding the Tomahawk Steak and if the bone has any purpose other than appearance or nostalgia. I prefer the bone in, as it not only insulates the meat, but the bone actually provides additional flavor.
There were 5 of us having the discussion and one made reference to not liking hearty steaks, indicating it was too much, rather a Filet mignon was proportionate to a satisfactory level. I tried to visit more with you as you were serious but was curious if you were a carnivore or just trying to fill in the blanks. I cut back on my beef intake to once a week, but I know the quality and am curious to hear your feedback.
