Help an old friendly vet get settled, crowded home

75 years old, alert, friendly, not bad at all, and in his nice "final" home. I can't get settled, too many old memories and trophies in a nice but only 1500 sqft. lovely home. Probably would only take a knowledgeable lady or even a domesticated male to help me get things stored properly, obtain storage cabinets or such to accomodate things, make the place truly mine and truly ready to have my three daughters visit and be proud of their old man. something from a tight budget, would take us out for lunch, etc., and become a solid worthwhie friend.
