Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Helper. A successful candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities: • Assist with the observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. • Dismantling devices to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices. • Examining form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. • Inspecting used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. • Adjusting functioning parts of devices and control instruments. • Repairing or replacing defective parts. • Installing special functional and structural parts in devices. • Testing the performance of devices. • Lubricating and cleaning parts. • Additional duties as become necessary and/or are assigned by management Benefits: • Competitive wages • Comprehensive benefits package • Paid vacations and holidays • 401(K) • On-site fitness facility and more Qualifications: • The ability to work in a fast paced environment • Knowledge of and the ability to use basic hand tools • Must be able to work rotating night shifts • Must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills • Additional duties as become necessary and/or are assigned by management. • 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience preferred
