“Experienced gigging band seeks drummer: A little about us… We play all over Knoxville and are looking to expand our footprint. We cover 90’s rock/grunge/alternative. We are all seasoned players with pro gear and have been together for over three years. We have excellent chemistry and want to bring the right drummer into the fold. We typically gig about twice a month. When we aren’t gigging, we typically rehearse and learn new material. We are drama free and we don’t get wasted when we play. We actually get along and treat each other like family and would expect the same from whomever we bring in. We are not looking for a “hired gun”. What we expect from you: First and foremost if you want an audition, you must have either an audio and or a video clip. (The more recent the better) You must have reliable gear and transportation. You must be available to rehearse and to gig. (Otherwise what’s the point?) Please leave your ego and drama at the door. If you’re granted an audition, be prepared. The stuff we cover is composed and it often has odd timing and difficult fills. Please be prepared to execute these with proficiency; We practice and we expect you to as well. Please be willing to have fun, but at the same time be willing to do the work to help us build our brand. If this post sounds harsh, we apologize. We are being blunt so we don’t waste your time or ours. We are booked through 2022 and are already starting to book 2023. We commit to anyone that is interested and who meets our criteria that we will be open and honest with all candidates.
