This is a community-led gathering to share ideas about what matters to us when it comes to our children, families, and neighborhoods thriving. Prior to the pandemic, alumni from the Parent Leadership Training Institute of Alexandria hosted a racial equity forum to develop solutions and ideas based on Alexandria's Civil Rights history and community wisdom. The 2022 Alexandria People's Assembly will examine key attributes and actions of a healthier and more enlightened community. Please bring your whole family. Following PLTI tradition, there will be a concurrent Youth and Children's Assembly. We will have BREAKFAST in the morning and LUNCH. Space is limited. We ask participants to be with us for the full day. PLEASE NOTE: The Alexandria People's Assembly is a space of robust community care and concern. Proactive, preventative health and safety precautions will be required, for all attendees, throughout the day.
