ECDC African Community Center is hosting our 17th annual Refugee First Thanksgiving community dinner. Join us in welcoming Denver's newest community members by sharing an evening of food, friendship, and dancing. Hosted at the Summit Event Center in Aurora, celebrate the diversity of our community by sharing both traditional Thanksgiving food and globally inspired dishes with new neighbors and friends! To honor our Muslim attendees, halal meat will be available at the event and this is an alcohol-free event. Space is limited, so please reserve a ticket for one of our two dinner shifts. Reservations are required for this year's event! First Dinner Shift: 5:30-7 pm Second Dinner Shift: 7-8:30 pm Please note: ACC's Refugee First Thanksgiving is a FREE event. However, please consider contributing by choosing the option to donate on the check-out page. We are also encouraging the donation of hygiene care bags for refugee families (see details in flyer below). You can also print this blank Thanksgiving card to decorate & include in your donation bag!
