Winter is coming! Get psyched for the upcoming ice season by meeting fellow ice climbers at the Old Town Alexandria Patagonia. Ice Climber Social This will be an opportunity to learn about ice climbing, meet new ice climbing partners, and trade beta about nearby ice climbing. All are welcome, from the newly ice curious, to the veteran who still remembers leashed-tools, and every ice-enthusiast in between. Ice Climbing Gear Swap By popular request we’re also offering another gear swap specific to ice climbing gear. Anyone is welcome to bring gently used but still usable ice climbing gear to sell or trade to other members. We’ll have tables on which you can display your gear, but please be sure to label the things you bring with your name and asking price. As always, buyers should be aware of the risks of purchasing used climbing equipment and should carefully inspect gear before buying. The American Alpine Club - DC Section doesn’t make any guarantees regarding the gear being sold. Leave-no-Trace: We can’t accept donated gear at this event so please take any unsold/free gear you bring back home with you.
