Register your team now!Join the Fort Worth chapters of AIA, IIDA, USGBC and the ASID Texas Fort Worth Design Community for a Gingerbread Build-Off!! This Design-Build event provides an opportunity for building industry professionals to show off their design skills. Teams will construct their confections at a location of their choosing and bring them to the holiday reception for judging.EVENT INFORMATIONWHERE: WRG Showroom (707 W Vickery Blvd, Suite 101 Fort Worth, TX 76104)WHEN: December 8th @ 6:00pmCOST: Free to attend and free to submit competition entryINCLUDED: Teams will be provided starter kit of gingerbread, structural icing and a board. Teams will be notified when and where to pick up the kits.Enjoy spirits, appetizers from Feastivities, and music from Classical flamenco guitarist, Kevin Townson Boards provided by: Wilson Live EdgeKits provided by: Lindsey Brigati, LLCCOMPETITION RULES1. Teams will construct their confections at a location and time of their own choosing and bring the completed projects to WRG before 6pm on December 8th.2. Houses or structures should be completely edible (no glue or inedible accessories.) Nonedible items are limited to the display surface and lighting.3. You may use any edible material that you like. You may use purchased materials, kits, or homemade materials that are edible4. This event is for AIAfw and IIDA members, however member-led teams can include friends, family, consultants, etc.5. Final entry must fit on 24”x24” display board or smaller. You may decorate the display board.6. Each team may present one printed 8.5” x 11” page of information to the judges. The judges are not required to review or consider this information. Teams are not required to present this information.7. You may not pay another company to complete the design or build.8. Each team may submit one entry. Individuals may submit one entry each.9.
