I am a real estate investor buying, flipping, and selling houses in West and Central Florida. Primarily within 100 miles or 2 hours driving from Downtown Tampa. I will be marketing our properties for sale with bandit signs. Yes, those yard signs that you see all over the place in the streets. We usually put 100 to 200 of those 2 to 3 times per week. And pay $1.50 per sign. That includes writing the signs by hand, which should take 2 to 3 hours. Also driving around and putting the signs at the lights in a designated area that I tell you. That should take another 2 to 3 hours. And that also includes your bonus for the gas and mileage of your own car. When putting the signs, you use your own car and do it on your own time. The best time to put the signs is between 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm. So, if you do the math, if we put 3 times per week 100 signs on each put, you would be making $450 extra per week. There is no way how to scam me on this and say that you put all the signs when you didn’t do it. The reason is that you must put each sign and take a picture of it showing the corner street where you put it. I have a full-time worker in India supervising these pictures for me as well as helping me monitor the rest of my workers. A regular day would be you coming to my home office to pick up 100-yard signs. Once you pick them up, you will need a room, office or empty space where to sit and start writing the signs. The signs are 18 x 24 inches. We usually fit 4 lines of text with 4 words per line. That’s the perfect balance for this type of marketing. However, sometimes I send to print them, and therefore, I will not need you to write anything up. In those cases when you do not have to write the sign, I pay $1.00 for just putting them out. So to let you know, depending on how fast or slow you are, 100 signs would take you anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to write. Then driving to the location where the property is might take you another hour and a half (around 4 hours invested so far) Then once you get to the area of putting the signs, you take around 3 hours to put all of the signs at the stops and corner lights. Therefore, you have 7 hours invested so far between writing the signs and planting them out. Then once you finish putting up those signs, you have another 2 hours driving to come back. So you figure, it’s around 7 to 9 hours to put out 100 signs. However, most of the time instead of putting 100 signs we put twice as many. Obviously, you make twice as much as well. I will be needing this done 2 to 3 times per week. Sometimes 100 signs per night, sometimes 200. The next morning after putting up the signs, the phone will ring off the hook.
