VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTIONS: Store Set Up Help get the store ready for shoppers. This position includes moving items, setting up tables, sorting items, pricing, wrapping stations, and more. Check-In Assist with the check-in process-pairing shoppers an assistant, double checking they came to the right shopping slot, etc. Shopper Assistant This will be a one-on-one position with the shopper. Helping shoppers navigate the store and find what they want. Also, keeping track of purchased items and spending and helping the shopper carry items. This position takes the shopper through the store, helps with going to the cashier, and the gift wrap station. You may be asked to help carry items to the car. Cashier Assist families through the checkout process, collecting payments for purchases, and ensuring price tags have been removed. Hospitality / Greeting Create a welcoming, warm environment for shoppers. Keep food and beverage table stocked. May be asked to help out in other areas or aid in taking gifts to cars. Gift Wrapping Manning a station and helping the shopper wrap gifts they purchased for their kids. Ensuring neat, nicely wrapped presents. Stocking the station when your shift is over.
