You're invited! Join us in celebrating Startland's Social Change Interns (SCI) at their Holiday Exhibition.
The Social Change Internship Program is an 8-week internship opportunity that challenges students to inspire, encourage & create social change through the human-centered design thinking process. For the first time, our sixth cohort was comprised of high school women and gender-nonconforming Kansas City students.
To celebrate the completion of our sixth cohort and the growth of the program, we are hosting a holiday event where interns from all cohorts will be in attendance. During the event, the most recent class of interns will pitch the solutions they created this semester.
This event location is currently TBA. Parking information will be sent upon registration. Food and drink will be provided.
COVID-19 PROTOCOL: As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with local and venue-issued mandates, a face mask will be optional upon entry and in common areas outisde of the immediate event space. Social distancing is strongly encouraged.
By registering to attend this in-person event you are acknowledging you have either been vaccinated against COVID-19 or plan to obtain testing leading up to the event.

The Social Change Internship is supported by The DeBruce Foundation, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Hallmark Foundation, C2FO, YEP KC, and the Sherman Family Foundation.
