Frightening experience end of summer ‘08

Hello. I think I’m ready to share this experience. Please tell me that I’m not alone! This experience happened during my sophomore year in high school. It was the end of summer in 2008. We lived in the country near a state route. It was a hot summer evening. All I had to keep cool was a ceiling fan and a window. I had difficulty falling asleep. My bedroom window was open. I decided to twist knot the curtain to allow any airflow to infiltrate into the room. As I knotted the curtain, someone was trespassing in our backyard. I was frightened; I noticed that individual before it noticed me. It looked emaciated with long arms, and large head for it’s body. I wish it had kept trespassing; I wish it never turned it’s head. Those eyes. THOSE EYES!!!!!!!!! I was beyond frightened! I’m tearing up just typing this. This unidentifiable individual exhibited a movement that was effortless, impressive, and frightening. We lived in a one story home. This unidentifiable individual effortlessly leaped in a blink of an eye into the tree that was taller than the house. It thought it could hide but those eyes gave it’s location away. It was not well hidden. I could still see it. I slammed my window shut, locked it. I unknotted the curtain. I don’t know why I turned on my closet light but I did. I climbed beneath the covers. I turned on the radio. I kept asking for that unidentifiable individual to remain outside and to not disturb me. I asked in my head over and over to be left alone. I don’t recall anything else that night. I never told anyone else in the house my experience. I’ve had three interesting dreams throughout the years. Please tell me I’m not alone! Those eyes glowed! It was walking upright like a human but those eyes were not human!!!!!!!
