After I quit gigging in rock bands I spent several years as part of a monthly acoustic songwriters’ night. It was a loose gathering of a dozen or so guitarists / singers. Whoever could make it that month met at a friend’s house for a casual guitar in the round evening. Even though many of us had been working musicians there were no professional aspirations. We’d share our new songs, play the old ones, and just enjoy making music with friends. Most of the ads here are for bands, so I was wondering if there are others who do this sort of acoustic songwriters gathering.
