To the original poster: Good for you for trying to start a band and do what you love. Don't let these replies bring you down.
To all the responders: Hating on someone for actually trying is pathetic and shows how frustrated you all are in yourselves and your own position in your "music career" Your attitude and actions is exactly what keeps this area down. Ive been a pro working musician for 20 years and the difference between people who get paying gigs and play music for a living and the haters on here is just that. Pros build each other up, help each other and build confidence in their community. What we dont do is collectively put down someones effort and bash them to the point that they think they shouldn't try. Ive had great paying gigs that required me to play mustang sally, american girl and acdc and I've also had gigs that payed terribly where I played Drake to a room full of 25 year olds.

GROW UP, STOP POSTING, START SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY AND GO PRACTICE
