in search of gerbils

I’m hoping to adopt a pair or trio of gerbils within the next few weeks/months (probably no sooner than two weeks from now, since I need to finish preparing), and I’d love to find a local breeder/rescue/etc to adopt them from! I believe Sailfin currently has a few pairs for sale, but their treatment of the animals is really quite bad and I’d love to support a healthier option if possible. if you know of any good places to get gerbils nearby, hit me up!
