Description
Hello to all! My apologies for the fib...but this little princess needs your help. This good girl is Clover. She is a beautiful little beagle I found walking through Walmart the other day approaching anyone and everyone for something to eat. And i dont really know if she can drive...but ive never asked her or handed her the keys to my car either...so who knows? What she is is incredibly sweet. As you can see in the pictures she is also very malnourished and in need of medical attention. (And these pictures are after 2 days of feedings, good water, a fenced in big yard, and rest in a kennel.) I brought her home to my family because I couldn't let her walk by and not help. When I got her home and bathed I was able to check her out more closely. In a addition to the expected fleas she has a sore, bare spot at the tip of her tail that is slightly red and bleeding a little. ( we've been cleaning the sore, which might be mange, daily and it's looking better). She has bouts of lethargy but is improving as well. Her eyes need some attention. Her teeth are not great and are in need of cleaning and a few removed by the smell. I'm going to worm her out of caution as well. When I picked her up she was little more than skin and bones. But the most worrisome ailment is her breathing and the persistent, hard coughs. She wheezes when she sleeps...badly. She wheezes when sitting or walking. And every little bit comes the hacking cough. And even with all her discomfort and pain she's been as sweet and lovable as she can be. I also have 5 other dogs. I've been keeping Clover in quarantine because I don't know if she is contagious...which brings me to why I'm telling you her story. Unfortunately I don't have the means to take her to a vet right now. ### I AM NOT ASKING FOR MONEY OR ANYTHING OF THE KIND ### What I am asking for is help from any vets, veterinary nurses, or anyone at all who has knowledge of how to help her. I know there are liability and monitary issues giving diagnoses to an animal that is not a patient. I promise I won't tell. Lol. I just want to get her better so she's healthy enough to find her a safe, loving family of her own. Although we love her more every day...I can NOT afford, nor do I have room for, 6 dogs. Lol. But she needs and deserves her health. She has so much heart. Well...there you go. If you know anyone, or you ARE that anyone, who can possibly help with advice or know of a facility that isnt as expensive as a regular office visit we, and little Clover, would appreciate it. Or if your family would be willing to adopt Clover and help her to get well I promise you won't regret it. Because even after all the miles, the persistent starvation, the cold nights and long days, the sickness, and the lonliness that comes with being cast out...she only knows how to love. And all she wants is to be loved. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
