Personal Assistant to Disabled Artist

Seeking a thoughtful, resourceful, and responsible individual to help artist with M.E. / CFS. Tasks include support with cleaning, tidying, and organizing; running errands; coordinating and booking appointments; organizing and completing paperwork; occasionally driving the artist and/or their gear; carrying heavier objects. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs and navigate two flights of stairs. Some studio assistance in the future. Individuals with arts interest and arts background are encouraged to apply, though that is not necessary. What is necessary is great executive functioning skills; an ability to anticipate needs; a can-do, take initiative attitude; and reliability. Position is 6 - 10 hours per week, occurring over two days, in three to five hour blocks of time. There is flexibility in terms of the days. This position requires wearing a mask indoors as well as taking a Covid test the day of work. Test kits and/or kit compensation will be provided. Pay starts at $15 / hour.
