Hey Bars and Restaurant owners. Dont you see this massive conflict of interest when you use a booking agent to hire musicians and the booking agent is getting the majority of gigs at your establishment? Or any gigs for that matter? They are certainly not getting you the best talent for your money. They are only protecting their interests and doing a dis-service to your establishment and to other hard working musicians. In real business this would never fly.
