All 3 of us will be put to sleep on 10/30 AT 5 PM SHARP!! (no extensions!!) Why? – Sadly, we are struggling in our kennel and the shelter euthanizes "us" dogs not coping well. We don't deserve to be put down because a non-caring person dumped us in a shelter. Read our bios below. (Dog Friendly) I’m a 2-year-old, neutered, brindle/white American Pit Bull Terrier (44.8 lbs.) I was picked up at a person’s house and brought to the shelter. I’m friendly, affectionate, and like attention but may jump up gently to get it. I like slow petting, know “sit”, take treats gently, and walk great on-leash. I have been non-reactive to dogs here at the shelter. CHEWBACCA: #A4384792 (Dog friendly) I’m a 4-year-old, neutered, white/brown Beagle/Pointer Mix (51 lbs.). I’ve been found as a stray twice, and sadly, no one came for me either time! With my finders, I have been very friendly, approaching for petting although a little head shy. I played with balls and did well with one finder’s little dog. It’s hard to relax in here, and I haven’t been much interested in people or treats, but like pets I walk well on-leash, sometimes pulling a little. I think I would do best in a home with older children. ELENA: #A4779280 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 4-year-old, spayed, black/white German Shepherd Mix (51 lbs.). My owner’s had too many dogs, and sadly, I was the one surrendered. They said I was a smart dog, good with young children, playful and friendly with dogs, and good on-leash. I liked playing fetch and loved soccer balls. At the shelter, I’ve been gentle, affectionate, but a tad timid. I like pets and belly rubs, will “sit” when asked, take treats nicely, and walk well-on leash but scared of passing cars. I may take a little time to warm up and may be best with older children. PLEASE REMEMBER!! All these dogs have been living in a high-stress environment and will need time to de-stress and relax!! Unless noted above that there is an only dog requirement, it is possible that with a slow introduction, any could live with another dog.
