Dear friend, I want you to know that I prayed before typing and submitting this post so I believe that God lead you to read this as an answer to my prayers. We are a church here in Raleigh and I want to be upfront and tell you that we are ALL about Jesus!!! We believe according to Scripture that it takes an atmosphere of true worship for God to come in and change lives. Worship is not about leading the people into the presence of God but rather leading God into the presence of the people! We are looking for a BASS guitarist that understand and is passionate about what was stated in the paragraph that you just read. This is not a paid position. In fact I'm the pastor and I do NOT get paid. We are offering a $250.00 one time welcome bonus to be paid after 60 days of service. This position will be prayerfully filled by a worshiper at heart that is looking for a place and a people to belong to. The ultimate pay is watching your gift get used by God to change lives Sunday after Sunday. Sunday’s praise and worship consists of three songs total. The songs range in styles from hymns to contemporary. Most rehearsals are on Saturday afternoon. Our keyboardist sends out the songs in every week in a chat group to get everyone familiar with the songs in advance of Saturday rehearsals. This chat group is also used by the singers and musicians to talk about real life issues and to pray one for another.
