I can spot lead (and rhythm) electric (and/or acoustic) guitar duties, also bass, mandolin, blues harp, also some lead vocals and vocal harmony, help with basic arrangements. With a quirky old-school stage persona, years of part-time experience, some full-time, pro gear thrown in for good measure, I know how to do the work but help keep it all fun and interesting. Hopefully your working Band has a positive audience friendly presentation/orientation and one that is not just stuck on repeating same-old-same-old worn out rudimentary covers. “Standards” from any era(s) ok of course but strict note-for-note ditto diet of "Oldies" just isn't palatable anymore. Familiar covers, some side-B’s, lesser known gems all done in an interesting way? Great. Add a smattering of original grooves or tunes thrown in for good measure and you might just have the kind of musical entertainment people notice and remember. You might say quality of "product" and audience appeal is key. Successfully retired so I have time and energy to help keep things rolling, that is, if they are actually rolling.
