Looking for somebody who can be my personal assistant. I have a business that specializes in mid century, high end vintage furniture. I need help with the day-to-day operations like staging photographs, and taking dozens of photos of each item, moving pieces around the warehouse, organizing the warehouse, and local deliveries. There are also other fun things like: * Taking pieces to upholsterers and refinishers * Picking up pieces from upholsterers and refinishers * Delivering to fun clients * Meeting with clients and showing pieces There are things that are even more fun like: * Potentially driving across the country to pick up random high-value pieces and being paid handsomely for doing so * Going to fun Modernism shows and working a trade-show-esque type booth and nabbing your hourly pay, plus a commission if you sell anything * Being well fed any time you're around me :-) Basically I need a right hand man, or woman that can do everything I need help with, and don't have time to handle. I'm a fun person to work around and am a firm believer in the work-hard-play-hard mantra. The best person for this position would be a guy, or strong gal (you need to be able to lift 100lbs) with a flexible schedule. This would be ideal for a student, or an actor or actress with auditions looking for a fun job, but not necessarily the daily commitment of a 9-5 job. Having a truck, van, or SUV is a huge plus, but isn't a requirement-- having a car is. No resume necessary, but if you must-- send it over. I'd prefer a brief email of why you'd be a good fit for the job and we'll go from there. Starting pay is $30 per hour, with the potential for increases.
