My name is Kain, and I have a music project that I've been working on for the past 2 years. I've pulled influences from a lot of different places in order to make something original that is my own. But being by myself is a bit difficult and I need something to add to what I've been trying to perfect. I'd really like to have a female singer. So if anyone is interested let me know. I'd also like to have a bass player, and also someone who plays any folk/indigenous instruments. I play guitar and tuvan throat sing, while using an Alesis SR-18 drum machine that I've manipulated to have an interesting and very dark sound to it. For a reference, here is a track I recorded in a studio and had it mastered. It can also be found on spotify. The guy recording me did the drums. So this track doesn't have the drum machine sound. But my other songs do, and I'm about halfway through finishing all of the songs. Let me know what you think, and if you're interested in jamming with me and trying to figure out this sound that I'm trying to pinpoint. I've played a couple shows as Thelosy and was alone, and people do find it interesting and very focused on consciousness and the mental state. Thelsoy is essentially an audio/visual representation of trauma and the inevitable reality of the cycles of life and mental states, and eventually death. I want Thelosy to be a name and an art form unlike any other. Disharmonious, and unsettling. A cryptic nightmare. I've pulled influences from doom metal/death metal/gaze/Mongolian Karagyraa throat singing/Drone/Melancholy/etc. Some influences are Primitive Man/Chrch/Heilung/Fvnerals/Huun Huur Tu/Forn/Ulcerate/Sol Invictus/Nightbringer/Agalloch/Wardruna/Subrosa/Sumac/Gigan/Carl Orff/ Friedrich Chopin/Sons of Perdition.
