Our economy is not controlled by our Congressional/Senate reps, and in fact our economy isn’t controlled by our Government either. It doesn’t matter what party occupies what seat, or the White House, etc. We have a free-market approach to business here in the USA, and any time people mention the Government stepping in to take control of something, immediately the protests start, it’s Communism, Socialism, etc. So we have this “hands off!” policy going. It isn’t only applied when Republicans are holding majority. People need to stop ignoring the FACTS about corporate America, that their profit margins are setting all-time records right now in general. American oil companies making 3 TIMES more profit in 2022 than they did in 2021. Do not talk about Biden’s policies without citing specific policies, what policies can you cite? None, that’s how many. Because we have free markets. It doesn’t take an idiot to figure out what/who is responsible for inflation. It DOES take an idiot to forget about Trump’s 4 years in office and the complete trashing of our economy that took place during those years. Or it takes someone who can’t deal with the facts. Joe Biden inherited an enormous mess. And I don’t want him in office for another 4 years, I want somebody 25ish years younger in there. I also don’t consider voting for Republicans who spend most of their time in some other world, who are literally proposing MORE tax cuts for the wealthy as some sort of fix, be an option.
