Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am an apprentice body piercer at Destination Ink in Hillsboro. I have been there since December of last year and I am coming so close to being done with my apprenticeship. I am on a time crunch since I need to have all my piercings done by January so I can take the written test and apply for the practical exam in March. There are only 3 time slots a year and I was just 60 away when the October exam date passed. I am currently offering all piercings at half the cost (so they are $30 when done by me, that does include the jewelry as well). All my work is under direct supervision of my mentor Mike Deich who has been piercing for over 18 years now. All of that said, I do have a few piercings we are willing to have done at no cost to the client because they are becoming increasingly less frequent and I need to get them done quickly. Those piercings are men's nipples, septums, dermals and surface piercings. I can do all other piercings at $30 each. The only piercings that I cannot do are genital and cheeks, those require a level 2 license and I am only working on a standard piercers license.
