Vill4ge Mi4mi, powered by Leadership Miami and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, is working with the Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida to beautify Camp Mahachee, South Florida's Girl Scout camp. Camp Mahachee is an 11-acre property located in Coral Gables where local Girl Scouts have learned to be leaders for more than 75 years. It's a nature oasis preserving the experience of the open doors amidst Miami's urban growth where girls can learn about science, the environment, and tell stories over the campfire. We're working hard to make this camp a magical place for our local Girl Scouts but we need your help! We need to: Paint and restore four of the Girl Scout cabins and bath area Revitalize fire pit areas Plant new plants native to South Florida Clean up and remove vegetation ...and more! Join us for a workday at Camp Mahachee! Bring your energy, your garden gloves, sunscreen, light clothing, and extra water. We need your help and your hard work! We will have cold refreshments and food with vegetarian options available.
