Description

Gather 'round as we spend time together exploring different languages, developing social skills through show and tell, and assist as we read today's story. Then, let's get up, warm up with Rajio Tasio, dance challenge, groove in Zumba, learn more about animals and their sounds in yoga, and conclude with a peaceful introduction to breathing meditation. We may have Crafts Time or Share Time session from 1:15 pm and begin Circle Time promptly at 1:30 pm. We encourage earthing/grounding but for your child's comfort you can bring your own yoga mat or towel. About Circle Time Circle time (more common in the US and UK) refers to young children between the ages of 3 to 7 sitting together forming a circle to take part in activities that increases their awareness of languages, physical and sensory experiences, develop social and emotional literacy, learning supportive listening, helps promote gross motor skills as it improves coordination and rhythm, builds a sense of community, and encourage positive relationships between the participants from different backgrounds and cultures which gives them the foundational tools to engage with each other in later years as they prepare for school and beyond. About Location Ballast Point Park is a park located within the Ballast Point neighborhood and adjacent to the Hillsborough Bay. For more information about Ballast Point Park click here. TIP: If parents/guardians/caregivers are using this time as a filler before lunch and nap time in their child's weekly schedule, we suggest that you arrive before 1:15 pm for open play in the beautiful amenities Ballast Point Park has to offer. If using the park amenities as an reward for completing our activities we suggest you arrive at 1:15 pm instead. NOTE: This program is designed for children ages 3-5. Parents with infants and children up to age 7 are highly encouraged to participate. There are plenty of seating areas for you to sit, network, or follow along and enjoy a mini workouwith your child. For safety reasons, we ask that the inner circle be used by preschoolers and older children. *This event is weather permitting*
