This workshop, led by a registered dietitian nutritionist and a licensed professional counselor, will provide an introduction to the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating through the lens of the Enneagram. It is a 2-part workshop on Thursdays Nov 3 and 10 from 5:30-7:30.
Intuitive Eating is a non-diet approach to nutrition. It includes steps towards re-establishing a healthy, trusting relationship with your body and reconnecting to its natural hunger and satiety cues. Making peace with our bodies and food, leads to transformational and sustainable changes in physical and emotional health.
The Enneagram is a personality typology that identifies 9 different ways of seeing the world. Each type is associated with an underlying core motivation that influences the way we feel, think, and act. During the workshop, you will be supported in identifying your enneagram number and the strengths and struggles associated with it.
As we learn about each principle of intuitive eating, we will identify how the specific enneagram personality types are affected uniquely in their challenges with nutrition and eating patterns. This combined “Ennea-Eating” journey will allow you to establish an individualized approach to eating that is optimal for your body and mind.
