Farm hand position opening on regenerative agriculture farm. We raise beef, lamb, pork, chickens, turkeys, and goats. Looking for a farm hand to live on the farm. Housing and our pastured meats are included in pay. This position is ideal for someone who has an interest in learning regenerative agriculture and has a desire to gain experience and/or one day start their own farm. Looking for someone who knows the meaning of hard work. This is not a 9-5 job where you get weekends off or paid vacations, it is a lifestyle change for most people. Hours change with the season. More hours needed in the spring and summer while things can slow down in the fall and winter. Looking for at least a year commitment with a trial period in the beginning. The trial period is to make sure that this is a good fit for the farm hand and the farm. Tasks include: Nightly moves of the egg mobile around dusk. Feeding and moving pigs, chickens, cows, sheep, and goats. Mechanical and by-hand weed maintenance. Poultry harvests 5-6 times a year. Please submit resume even if you do not have prior experience.
