Muslim Women Giving 100 would like to invite you to a Poverty Simulation event run by Circles, sponsored by OBAT Helpers Inc., and hosted by University High School's Muslim Student Association. The Poverty Simulation is a three-hour event that sensitizes participants to the reality and challenges of people (and people with disabilities) living in poverty in Marion County. Participants work together as members in low-income families to determine how to survive with little to no money, few resources, emergencies, health issues and more. This experience will help those in service professions understand the challenges of those served who may be experiencing poverty. Agenda Sign-In: 9:15 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. (*MUST be signed in by 9:45 a.m. sharp to participate!) Simulation: 9:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m (includes15 minutes of break time at 11:45 a.m.)About Muslim Giving 100: The mission of MWG100 is to leverage the charitable traditions of Muslim women in greater Indianapolis area in building bridges that strengthen our local communities.
