Description

Children participate in group discussions and debates about the focus book of the month. Instructor challenges participants to make connections to previous text and real life experiences. Extensive activities which include writing, reader’s theater and art expression are incorporated in the book sessions to help children demonstrate their understanding of the text. Also, there is a guest who is connected to literacy present at each book club session too.
