The music of Phish occupies a sacred space in our hearts here at the Crazy Horse. Very few bands out there can truly do justice to the intricate art of covering these songs. San Francisco's Chum has earned elite status amongst the Phish community with their rare ability to capture the essence of the band's razor-sharp precision, organic improvisation and playful spirit. From 1.0 to 4.0, they have it all dialed.
On previous occasions here, they nailed "It's Ice” like child’s play and turned "Set Your Soul Free" into one of the highlights of the night. They navigated the gauntlet of "Fluffhead" and ventured into the dark, "type-2" jam space of "Carini." They even spelled “Crazy Horse” in their last show here which included dazzling forays through “Ziggy Stardust” and “Esther.” Just like a Phish show from 25 years ago or today, you can count on Chum taking the audience on a wild, joyous ride.
