Downtown Wake Forest’s buildings and sidewalks have seen well over 100 years of history, and they have some eerie stories to tell! We invite you to join Wake Forest Downtown, Inc. and our wonderful storytellers from Forest Moon Theater for the third year of Spirits of Wake Forest. You will learn all about the restless spirits that make up just a small piece of downtown’s haunted history. Spirits of Wake Forest is planned and hosted by a volunteer committee, and all proceeds from ticket sales will serve as donations to further the missions of Wake Forest Downtown, Inc., and Forest Moon Theater. LOCATION Tours will take place in Historic Downtown Wake Forest’s business district, primarily along South White Street. We will meet outside Wake Forest Town Hall (301 South Brooks Street) and tours will begin promptly at their scheduled time. Please note that tours are within the business district only and will not include the private residences located along North and South Main Streets. DATES AND TIMES DUE TO HIGH DEMAND, NEW TOURS HAVE BEEN ADDED. Additional tours will be taking place November 3-November 5. They will be offered at 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, there will be a third time of 7:00 p.m.  PRICING Tickets are priced at $15 per person. Payment was collected from the initial reservation of the cancelled tour. No additional payment will be taken for the rescheduled tour. TICKETS All tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable/ non-transferable. Tours are recommended for ages 8 and up. Younger children are welcome at their parents' discretion. Any attendees under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO This year's tour will feature a number of last year's favorite stories, along with plenty of new spine-chilling material. Tours will take place rain or shine. If severe weather poses a risk to public safety during your tour it will be cancelled, and all ticketholders will receive a refund. The maximum number of participants for each tour is 20. The health and safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us. With that in mind we will follow any national, state, or local mandates that are in place regarding COVID-19 at the time of each tour.
