Ashante and Anthony Community Empowerment, Inc (AACE) offers enrichment programs and services for children and adults. Our goal is to assist families in ways that matters the most. We provide resources to low-income families, single mothers, and at-risk children. AACE believe families can achieve academic, economic and social success within their community though education. We intend to host five educational events annually, empowering low-income families to become a valuable access to the community. Our programs include budgeting workshops, character building classes, community events, community sports assistance, health and wellness workshop, resume writing assistance, youth mentorship and scholarships and grants for higher education. Come dressed in your best red, white or gold affair, this is a semi-formal event. AACE is a private foundation recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3). Comedian Anthony "AD" Demmer will be performing. AD (Almost Delivered) is Hilarious: Its slide splitting narratives, funny music and stand-up comedy all based on everyday life events. He has performed at Corporate events, Colleges, Churches, Comedy Works, Laugh factory, Ice House (Pasadena, CA.), All Jokes Aside (El Paso, TX), Uptown Comedy Club (Atlanta, GA.) and Wits End. He has opened for such artists as, George Lopez, Carlos Mencia, Tommy Davidson, Jamie Foxx, DL Hughley and Chris Rock. He has also hosted such events as the National Urban League Convention, National Baptist Church Convention , Featured on Bounce Tv's Off the Chain, BET Comic View, Comedy Centrals Comedy Spin and a brief stint as morning show host on KDKO 1550 AM. A.D. has opened for such musical acts as the Isley Brothers, Howard Hewitt, The Gap Band, Earth, Wind and Fire and other nationally known entertainers.
