The 2022-23 American Basketball Association season starts next weekend with the East Bay Kings taking on its local neighbor the West Coast Legends. Both teams are owned by local hip hop performer Lorenzo "Renz Julian" King, also a player on the Kings. The Kings return leading scorers DaeSean McNeal and Andrew Guiang.
