Redemptorist Social Services Center constantly strives to combat hunger by providing food to those in need. Hops N Drops - Happy Hour for Hunger, is raising awareness and funds to address the heartbreaking reality of hunger in our community. With inflation our neighbors are finding that their dollars do not stretch as far as they used to. This rise means many families, children and seniors are having to make tough choices between buying food and other critical expenses like housing, utilities and medical care. Over the last 2 years Redemptorist Center has seen a continued rise in clients we serve. Among those are the working poor. Those that have never had to navigate a system before and our lines are growing. 2 years ago those in need looked very different. Today, they could be your next door neighbor. Join us this year for our very first Hops N Drops - Happy Hour for Hunger, on Monday, November 7th from 6pm-9pm. Beer, wine and appetizers! It is sure to be a great evening including a silent auction. You can help us fill our pantry shelves by bringing non perishable items and bringing your network of colleagues and friends.
