Hello everyone! I have fallen in love with acrylic pouring. It is a technique where acrylic paint is mixed with a pouring medium, poured on to the canvas and manipulated using popsicle sticks and other implements. ***I recommend that you bring a metal palette knife with a point (I like the blade to be approximately an inch and a half long - one of the smaller palette knives). The work is in the "prep" and I will have the paints pre-mixed, the canvases leveled and other steps in preparation. IMPORTANT - canvases must dry overnight. They will be available for pick-up the next evening between 6-8pm when I will provide handouts and do further demos (including touch-ups), including how to mix the paint and what "formula" works best for me. If you are not available to pick-up the painting the following evening I can coordinate with you to deliver to you. We will be focusing on the technique using the "round" leaves, but please see the other pics for inspiration (I will demo the other leaf techniques as well).
