Over the next decade, NOAA estimates that the global Blue Economy will double to USD $3 trillion. Ship building and advanced manufacturing, responsible resource extraction and consumption, aquaculture, pharmaceutical research, biomimetics, pollution control, waste management, and other industries offer an array of opportunities. The need to grow and deepen innovation pipelines has been a top priority identified by the UN and the OECD.
