We simultaneously pulled up to the light. You edged forward and I looked over and locked eyes for a brief moment (Brief as it may be, I was able to take in and appreciate how gorgeous this woman is). I didn't want to be weird so I looked away, but when I looked back, you were still looking. You slowly looked away and all I could think was "Wow. Gorgeous." The light turned green and we were off. I was hoping the universe would give me a second chance to pull alongside you again.. but no such luck. The entire way home I couldn't help but wish I engaged you somehow. A wave. A goofy smile. Sure, timing was short, being at a red light on Alicia.. but c'mon.. Something.. Anything! At any rate, I can only hope you and Grandma? Mom? Whoever that was in your passenger seat made it to wherever you're going safely.. and pray our paths cross one more time.
