Hey, all. I would really like to get together with like minded friends. Mebbe we could start a music project. Mebbe we could drink and talk about music we like. I am a bassist/guitarist/new drummer. I have a 5 string Jackson bass, a Schecter diamond guitar with triple wounds so I typically play/write in drop whatever. I've got two heads, one an Orange and the other a sludgy frankenstein (stien?) along with two brutal Kustom amp towers. I also have a PA and one mic. Just got a decent handle on pinch harmonics but don't ask me for sweeps. Not quite there yet. I have been writing music akin to the likes of Ahab, Neurosis (Enemy Of The Sun), SOME Mastodon, Warning, Nortt, Lurker Of Chalice, and old friends Blood Magick (Crystalline Passage). I love Noothgrush, Portal, Nile, and Mortitian as well. Anything grimy, really. DPBM would be nice to play as well (Leviathan, Shining, Lifelover, Hypothermia). I've also got a 'goth' project online. Think mebbe Laeather Strip, Front242, and She Past Away... maybe. I'm not sure what I'm doing as I have been in perpetual band hell here. People thinking they can only work with 'professionals' or writing a complete song only to change it the next practice. Honestly, I'm just trying to work with people that are serious but do not take themselves too seriously. I'm not trying to get famous. I'm trying to write albums, have fun, and maybe get weirdos to wear our patches/buttons/shirts. I have really been enjoying the local scene here as well. Tenant, Damned By The Pope, Secret Shame, and Flooding have been very positive influences. If any of this sounds good to you, hmu. No pressure to meet and jam right off the bat and all that. We can meet for a beer or five and whatnot. I'm 34 and really chill. Lived in punk houses, been a motonomad, and not a trustpunk. Don't be a brat and we'll get on just fine. Just trying to meet good people.
