Description
Hello! We have a dog that has wandered up after hurricane Ian. We have taken her to the vet; she was checked for a chip, which she does have. However, the owner has been extensively contacted to reclaim her without a response. We would love to keep her because she is well-mannered and gentle; unfortunately, she does not fit into our home on a permanent level.
We did conclude that her name is Bailey, and she is a Pit-Mix at two years old and spayed. She's young, energetic, and loves to play but desires another dog to play with. Due to being outside or being abandoned, she still shows caution and nervousness with unknown people, but when comfortable, she is very curious, playful, happy, and loyal. She is kennel trained and does not show food aggression.
When taken to the vet, the doctor deemed she was in excellent health, 29 lbs, and she has been brought up to date on all her shots; she is currently on heartworm medicine and has received a monthly parasite/tick oil application. All she needs is love from her new family!
We are asking for a $60 rehoming fee to offset costs for the vet.
